Leadership Studies Minor

The Leadership Studies minor is currently under reorganization and may not be accepting applications for admission during the 2016-17 academic year. Contact Student Life Vice President Jeff Jordan (jordaj2@lvyouhz.com) for additional information.

• A minimum 30 credits are required for this minor, including 15 upper-division.
• If you are in an SPU leadership position and advised through the Office of Student Life, Campus Ministries, or the John Perkins Center (i.e., RAs, SMCs, ASSP leaders, or STUB), you are eligible to apply.
• The practicum portion of this minor must be taken while you hold one of those leadership positions. 
• POL 4930 “Leadership Practicum” will account for 5–10 credits. 
• You will take 15–20 credits in three areas that include specific lists of existing courses in fields such as psychology, sociology, political science, communications, philosophy, and business.
