研究生毕业典礼
All master’s and doctoral degree students who wish to participate in 研究生毕业典礼 must complete the graduation application in the 横幅资讯系统 到12月15日 of the 日历 year prior to June Commencement ceremonies. Details regarding Commencement ceremonies will be communicated via your SPU email.
To be eligible to participate in the 研究生毕业典礼 ceremony, a student must be able to complete all degree requirements during the 日历 year in which Commencement takes place. 例如, those who plan to participate in Commencement in June 2020 must be able to complete all degree requirements by the end of Winter Quarter 2020, 2020年春季, 2020年夏季季度, 或2020年秋季.
Note that some academic departments may not allow you to participate in 研究生毕业典礼 ceremonies if you will not complete all degree requirements by a specific deadline that varies from the standard stated above. Please check with your program coordinator for specifics.
Your degree will be awarded effective as of the quarter in which your final grade is assigned and all degree requirements are completed.
Diplomas are not distributed during Commencement. During the ceremony, you will receive a diploma cover. 以下情况授予学位

Diplomas will be mailed approximately six
weeks after the degree is posted, as long as all financial obligations to the University are met.
- 冬季季毕业生 should receive diplomas by mid-June.
- 春季学期毕业生 should receive diplomas by mid-September.
- 暑期班毕业生 should receive diplomas by mid-December.
- 秋季学期毕业生 should receive diplomas by mid-March.
